rs turbo gear box.will a xr3 gear box fit

will a xr3 gear box fit into a rs turbo s1 i know i dont have the lmt slip diff but will it fit

not as strong and different ratios
better putting old box for rebuild

mine lasted 6 months at 250 bhp i was sick of paying for rebuilds will do you for a while mate but will spin up alot easier
