Power Steering Pipes
Question for you knowledgeable guys out there......
I'm gonna aeroquip up (bloody stuffs addictive!!) my power steering system on my car - & I can get my hands on some -12 pipe & one fitting very cheap (cheers Nutter). Would it affect the system to use bigger pipe on the high pressure line from the pump to the rack - i.e. would it make the steering feel different???
Any help appreciated!!

Be careful....normal aeroquip 200 goodridge hose & fittings etc aint rated to take power steerng pump pressure...60 - 90 bar....you will need pipe & fittings that can take that sort of working pressue...

Never thought of that to be honest....although I've just checked the specs in the Goodridge catalogue & it reckons that safe pressure is 69BAR & the burst pressure is 263BAR so I reckon I'll get away with it!!!
I'm sure DaveEscos did his power steering system in quip.....might double check with him to see if hes had any probs!!!
