welding pipes?

Default welding pipes?

alrite people my mates pipe on his ped snaped so for now i used a gasless mig to weld it together and then bit of putty to stop it from blowing but could posibly get hold of a gas mig, would that make a better weld also is there diffrent setting ?

If the metal is thin then yes! If you use a gas like Argon it will have far better cooling properties than C02 (or a C02 mix). Flux cored wire is normally best for thicker metals but you should be able to get a good weld on thin metals if you've had enough practice

Alot of people do not like flux cored wire but I don't mind it in the least, although I do prefer solid wire with a gas shield.
