not sure when I'm re-applying, kind of inbetween jobs at the moment and my next one has taken a fair bit of effort to get into (MOD) so I'd feel like a bit of a c'nut applying for fire service then potentially leaving 3 months into this new job!

Might leave it a year or so i reckon

Snoopy, Rumour has it Aldermaston are only recruiting MOD Firefighters now, but give em a try, Berks are letting transfers from other Brigades and Retained in April I think?
