I'm into my watches got a few jems which I bought earlier on in the year..... a couple of Gucci's, Rolex and only last week bought a Breitling like to this http://www.watches.co.uk/watch.php?w...76445fd30144f8 although didnt pay that kind of money for it

This will give you roughly what they are new

http://www.creativewatch.co.uk/breil-watches-shop.html

The funny thing is I dont wear one during the day and always forget to put one on when i go out

You cant beat a tasteful but non tacky watch IMO

Thats a nice present well done on the good service

Just bought myself a new watch, well It was second hand actually. Not really a watch person, but I thought I fancy one anyway. hardly wear it though

One upside was that without me knowing it happened to be Seans all time favourite watch and he was really gutted...

Never had a expensive watch before Spadge I don't know alot about them either I think thats why Sean was gutted. Its a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. Black face, black strap.... and its just the stainless steel one! Not the daddy white gold jobbie which I wanted.

Bit like this then Lee but with the black strap
Cool watch

I had one of the 1st Rolex Submariners to come into the UK some years ago but really hated it as it felt light and cheap in comparison to my Omega, Tag's and Breitling So got rid of it for more than it cost new lol! That one you have on the other hand is a proper heavy mans watch and i want it

I've got a Tag 2000 Chronograph and a non chronograph at home somewhere.

Not silly money but nice solid, unflashy watches

Well Spadge im just looking at buying a watch in the new year and ive been looking at a Tag Heuer Kirium Ti5 with the titanium body and carbon fibre face and i think the list price is around 1400 for it. It has also been discontinued from production.

I can get the watch from a friend's shops over sea's and he tells me he can do it me for 975 as he has one left and he will save it for me.

I know the watches are genuine as people i know have spent thousnads in his shop with watch addictions.

What do you think ?

Sounds good mate!
I have a Tag Kirium with an electric blue face and have only ever seen 3 like it anywhere! Great watches and you certainly know you've got it on As for buying abroad yes they will be cheaper due to vat etc...in this country I bought my Omega 'bond' watch (the same as Tiffs) in the Canaries and it was 300 quid cheaper than here

Thats the one Spadge. Thanks, I think its cool too. Just not used to wearing a watch, so I never think to put it on in the morning!

I think I prefer the stainless strap to look at... but mines more subtle. BUT thats a stunning pic of the stainless one, actually think I should have got the stainless the one now. DOH!

I'm going to go straight home and put it on

Cheers for that, kinda excited about getting it now as when i saw in my mates catalog that it was discontinued i was gutted.

His dad called the shop abroad and found me one.

So much cheaper too for a proper genuine watch

I go through phases just like i do with cars when it comes to watch's
I nagged the wife to buy me a Tag Heuer Monaco 'Steve McQueen' a couple of years ago as i just had to have one. She bought it me for Christmas at a cost of 2k and i hardly ever wear it as i don't like it much anymore
I prefer heavy sports watch's and this was bought during a different phase

ive personally beena big fan of seiko kinetic watches and i have a rolex style one and the SQ titanium ones

oh and a very very old omega sea master, and i did have a gold ( how fooking tacky must i have looked with that and all my rings and braclets ) gucco watch with a black face that i gave away when i was TOTALLY pissed as fook in a club, aint got a clue why i done it and the morning when i rememberd i was sooo fucked off

ive a huge liking fo the raymond weil watchs but belive it or not ive never got round to buying one

porkie as for rolex watches second hand was that cause all the nice one STILL have a stupid waiting list on em like a few years ago when i wanted a rolex divers watch ( silver one with the red and blue surround) nikki was gonna buy me one and the only place that had one for sale that day was the indoor market watch place on bond street, it was second hand adn 300 quid more than they are new, reason for it was the 4 month wait to get the same watch
