Ok changed the title of the post too see if other peoples TailGates look like on the inside frame where the top spoiler fits '
As Daves Cos Must have the wrong TailGate as its not shaped for the bolts to sit FLAT

Need pics to Prove that Dave was talking Crap unless his had been changed in the past

This is the Proper Cosworth one inside edge
And the Standard mk5 escort one which he put the bottom spoiler on to it no problems but when we went to mark and drill the holes for the top spoiler befor getting it painted (As he's Got a brand new one) we found that the bolts would'nt sit right as it was'nt shaped right on the inside frame

It will be good to see if its a case of a handfull of standard ones do have the bit shaped in the frame for the bolts and its just unlucky we got one without this bit shaped into it

Turbo lag In the first 2 pics it has a differnt shap to the frame IE where the bolts go into the top spoiler
And on the 3rd one it shows that its not shaped as that is the Standard Mk5 tailgate (this pic was taken on with it on the car)
Dave still has proved that his BOTH have te flat bit shaped into the frame A saw loser imo
