Will a mk4 Escort clutch fit a mk5 with a CVH engine?
Just need to know as there's one going cheap and I need a new one. My car has the 1600cc CVH engine and this clutch is listed as being suitable for 1600cc Escorts 1986-1990.
On a related note, how hard is it to swap the clutch with a Haynes guide?

Can I not use a non RS clutch for the time being? I don't need to pay out for an RST clutch and flywheel til I get an engine for it to be honest mate.
The clutch I'm looking at is suitable for an XR3i as well if that helps lol
