S1 and S2 diffs
Just wanted to find out what diff I had in my gearbox, its got 6 bolts on the diff casing, S1 or S2 LSD?
I should know which is which but I can't remember...

and have shown pictures etc of when you have done it.
I can't remember though which is the easiest Diff to use on none LSD boxes?
i.e. I have a mk2 fiesta diesel box that has a 3.33 diff (I think) not sure on the other box ratios - that I would like to fit an LSD to.. but don't know if an S2 diff which I have would be any good.

Most BC boxes have the crownwheel attached by 6 bolts, so S1 diff is a fairly universal swap to any old BC gearbox. FRST and S2 are exceptions and then several post 1990 gearboxes. Not 100% sure on the Fiesta mk2 3.33 box, but I'd think it has the 6-bolts as well.
