On a 4x4 Saff where is the gearoil plug? I.E i wanted to top the level up.

I have no idea........

from memory its mid-way back but in the front/bell housing case and about half way up, and on the near side (LH side) and i think the level is about 5mm below the filler plug. It's a git to fill up in situ

it was a while ago so if i am wrong sorry, it there somewhere

Use a small plastic bottle (squeezable) and a piece of flexi tube - oil level should only come up to the filler plug hole (car being level) IIRC....
