Went to the classic car show in Brum yesterday and they were doing the "dream rides" thing where you pay to be taken out in the car of your choice with money going to charity.
Went out in a 911 turbo..pretty much a new one, and it is the most mental machine I have ever been in.....the driver had it up to about 120, but the way the thing just dug in and went was amazing, and even though the roads were damp it was like the thing was properly stuck to the road.
I've never been a porker fan, but that motor was just awesome....
The rest of the cars were crackers as well...a few ferraris, a diablo, couple of esprits, the general lee copy, a murcilago (which local plod nicked for speeding..w...ers!), cobra, old jags.....
