Plasma Screens
I disagree, I've got a 42" Panasonic Plasma Screen and it's absolutely spot on. I've had it for about a year now and have'nt had any problems whatsoever.

No but i do install them all day every day for sony so i think i'm entitled to opinion. but u do find its just the same as the scooby v cossie argument. the fact is if you have a plasma then u ain't gonna like the lcd ect. and the people who say they run out of gas genrally have a shit tv anyway.

I did a bit of testing with the Plasma and the LCD screens and to be totally honest i couldnt tell THAT much difference in the 2
That was with watching DVD's
Then normal Sky TV
Then normal ariel TV
On both screens.
I went for a 42" Hitachi Plasma and it is awesome
As long as it is HD ready then it is personal choice i think

think there is alot of shite in this post,....plasma and LCD have come on leaps in the past few years.
Plasma will last as long as CRT if looked after and do not run out of Gas as stated above.
Screen burn on plasma can happen if a static picture is left on the screen for long periods with a bright picture. Say if you left the panel on SKY News for a week and changed channel you may see a ghost image of the Logo, but this is more so on the older panels.
LCD tends to be a brighter picture than plasma but not necessarily better just because of this, other factors are involved!.
Go and view the different sizes from the distance you will be sitting at home to get a feel for the size. I sit 12ft away from my 42" plasma and it is about right for every day viewing, this is the same distance I sit from a 6ft projector screen also. Another bonus is these flat panel TV's will actually make your room feel bigger due to the lack of bulk provided by CRT boxes.
Only thing I would say with regards to LCD is check to see how it handles fast moving objects across the screen, some are shite and also the Black level on LCD's can be very poor making the picture look very flat with no depth to the picture.
Also beware if the shop is playing an animated DVD like Nemo or similar, these can make a crap Plasma or LCD look the bollock's with excellent colour and depth, but when you put your Sky through it you will be pi55ed with the results......2 very different medias!!!
Again personal choice which one you choose but let your eyes be the judge, after all your the one who will be watching it!
Pick a good one and you'll never look back

As for your telly - I reckon 70's hairy muff porn will look the same on any tv but as long as it does the job then thats all that matters
Cheers for the invitation though and i'll look forward to launching your Liner one day soon
