Default HELP - snapped bleed nipple in 2wd caliper

i bought a set of 2wd calipers a while age and only got round to stripping them today as i got new seal kits.

one of the bleed nipples has been snapped off, and i think its tried to be removed at some point cos it looks like there is something snapped off in the hole

it does sit slightly proud of the caliper 1-1.5mm ish

any one know any good ways of getting the bugger out?

cheers all

use an easy out or carefully drill it and pick the pieces left over out..but be carefull, don't drill the threads out..been there done that..

drill it out, an easy out screws into it using a reverse thread, so as it becomes tight it unscrews, but it will prob be rusted in use plenty copperslip on new one

easy outs are made from high tensile steel and are a right pain to try and drill if one has snapped in there already..

sounds like an easy out in there, trouble is you have to use a really small one to get those fuckin bleed screws out, and they are brittle as hell and snap in there.

was in this exact same position last month mate, only option was new calipers...you won't get the fucker out imo
