how do i tell if its an original avo shell will it be on the logbook or stamped somewhere?? going to look at one on sunday but havent got
a clue what im looking for or where im looking

look under the rear to see if it has the anti tramp bar brackets , under the bonnet for the type 49 body number (on the tags) reinforced top mount plates, thats all i can remember, sure there is more

open an account with photobucket (the uploader button will take you staright to it)
then upload your piccy from your pc to photobucket, under the piccy there will be 3 tags, use the one with the image tag, and copy and paste that on here

Very hard to tell if its genuine as they are old cars and easy to convert and most have been well repaired/modified but:
Chassis tag should have BFAT in it!
There are other things like the Strutt tops should be strengthened and Boot floor should have studs protruding down but as said these cars have changed alot.
On a H plate it is too early for an RS2000 but is more than likely a Mexico. Either that or a RS1600 but I doubt it.
