Starting problem, 2wd saph, no spark
The car won't start for a time +-20min and then suddenly the engine starts en running smoothly.
When the car isn't starting, there's no spark, i checked the 2 wires on the ignition coil and there is a +12v but no earth.
When the engine runs there is both +12v and earth.
The TDC sensor is replace 3 months ago and the phase sensor is 1,5 year old.
Could this problem still be the 1 of those 2 sensors or could it also be the ignition amplifier.
Cheers for answers

should be a permanant earth regardless of weather the engine is running or not.
The Amp Earth is connected to the earth point on the throttle cable mount.

I thought that the earth on the coil is swithing on and off, for the coil to give a spark to the distributer, or is the +12v switching for a spark of the coil???
Cheers
