Default desktop shortcuts...

hi my computer is very grumpy today and has gone abit mad, think i need it seeing too.. but for the minute i have lost my shortcut links to word, desktop itunes etc that i used to have by the start button, but i cant remember how to get them back.. they were just really easy to bring up a new screen.... any help would be fab

Yup, you can drag and drop them from the start menu to where they used to be

Also run a virus scan

You can right click an icon, then go to send to, and there's desktop (create shortcut)

ohh.. sorry my mistake i mean these icons... ie interenet, desktop and realplayer etc...



i know how to put something as a desktop shortcut.. im just even more lazy than that! hehe...

thanks for the advice guys... xx


ps very trivial i know... but when u get used to something its annoying when it goes!

ive got mcafee virus scan but it hasnt picked anything up im abit worried as there is definitely something wrong with it!

right click the task bar, properties, then tick show quick launch.

You can then drag new shortcuts in if u need.
