in with the in crowd?
i've been a member on here for a fair while now and put up a few posts.
but it seams their is a patern imerging of a little elite croud of what seem very close friends.
theirs nothing wrong with this infact its good to see so many people gettin along but it just seams very hard to chat with people in this circle and i cant understand why?
does anyone else feel the same or am i over looking something?

Because those of us who know each other have probably been on Ford boards together for nearly 7/8 years, and some of us know each other as mates outside of the "scene".
This comes up all the time, but the more shows you attend, and the more people you meet, the more friendly people will be..................

I suppose it all depends what you want from Passionford & what your expectations of others are!
I agree though there are different circles of friendships. Some would class each other as M8's rather than aquaintances....friendships like Rich says can only come through time.

suppose it depends on if you go to the show's and meet folk, I've been on the boards for maybe 6/7 years but never really met anyone on here, only use it to pass the time and learn a bit hence not being in the crowd but i'm not really bothered.
It bothers some people more than others though otherwise there wouldnt be post's like these.

Don`t really think it`s as bad as you think mate,you just need to keep getting involved until people know you a bit better,Try to get involved constructively and offer help if you can......The number of people i have seen who moan about this and then you look at their posts and all they do is slag people off...(not saying you do of course)....
I haven`t met that many people off here but i get a fairly warm reception off most people now and i am getting to know everyone slowly but surely......It`s like any friendships....they take time to develop....
Like i say try and be constructive if you`ve got any thing worth saying....say it...if you`ve got nothing usefull to offer.....keep it shut,People will soon get to know you and you will become part of the community.....
REMEMBER.........You only get out what you put in.....

I think I was one of the first people to sign up on this forum, but yeah I feel like an outsider, and to say it's because people have been in the 'ford' scene for 7 or 8 years is somewhat a broad statement aswell, i've owned my XR2 for 14 years, been going to shows for well over 10 and even Started a 'Ford' Club... maybe it's Cuz I aint an RS owner? dunno... that said not really bothered, it's still one of the best 'ford' forums after fordsort that is

i'm not saying that any of you are coonts or anything like that.
i do go to nearly all the shows and have spoke to a fair people whos faces i recognise but don't want to make a tw@t of myself.
maybe if some one would do me a signiture so you all knew what car i've got this would help?
i really like the sight but am unsure as to wether to reply to posts so as not to upset the croud.
and i'm deffinetly not out to slag anyone off that is a fact.

As said a lot of people have been on the BB for years and have made close freinds with people, i just takes time thats all. The longer your on here, the more people u meet at shows etc you get to know people better.
