Hi mate!
If you have a Nero Suite of some sorts installed .. Nero SoundTrax is quite good at this .. You can also record records.
Basically you hook up to the PC line in and select the "what you hear" output. The capture will be a large file tho!
Test out to find the best settings first.
Sony Sound Forge 8 is quite good too .. but more complicated to use.

The procedure on that page is OK ... but if you choose to install the separate Lame encoder .dll, you may have problems registering it in XP.
Basically, if you can hear it through the soundcard, you can record it.
Sometimes, you need to match up the impedance tho.
Sure you can suss it Pete. Using Nero, you can save in various formate, according to what is installed on the PC (such as .mp3)
