How hard to change one? a guy at work got told by a garage it would take 3-4 hours! cos it's hard to get to! is this correct?

what year clio is it mate, i use to have a j plate cable use to rub through all the time, bit of a bitch but not 3 hours half an hour mibi

its the ratchet on the pedal thats the worst, easyer to take the front seat out so you can get right
under the dash

just done this on my Clio 16v, not a pleasant job, worse on mine as there is less room in the bay to get youre hands in to route the cable best off taking off the panel under the steering wheel to allow you access to the clutch ratchet mechanism, can see what youre doing that way, rather than lie upside down in the car
