RS500 spec??
What are the specific/exact differences between a normal 3dr and the RS500?
I've just had an interesting debate with someone who 'claims' to know everything about them and I think they're wrong but I want to find out first before I post what they believe is correct
Can someone give me the answer please.

Different mounting point for the rear suspension
8 injector plenum (plus different ecu loom etc)
thick walled 205 block
cut corner of batter tray
different stickers
T4, different inlet pipes
rs500 intercooler
the front bumper is different (dips in centre)
lower rear spoiler
extra lip on upper rear spoiler
Cant really think of anything else off hand, they are actually not very dissimilar really.

RS500 had a different front bumper with cut out for more air flow, and fog lamp grills, Lower rear spolier and top lip spoiler on rear, Engine wise it had the 4x4 block ( always forget what one , 200/205 
) T4 turbo, 8 injector plenum but only ran 4 injectors
Also had the option for BBS 3 piece splits, not sure if the 3dr did ?
And it had a plaque on th centre consul with its build number 1 to 500

Some of the differences:
Block - first of the thickwall types
4 extra fuel injectors/extra fuel rail
Special plenium/throtle body/transverse mounted ISCV
Inlet tracts opened up by 9mm
Improved head gasket
Bher cored large intercooler
Garrett T4 turbo
Alternator drop bracket
3 bolt thermostat housing
Exhaust manifolds were fitted with sleeves
Body kit/spoilers by Pheonix

Pete - erm, thanks mate, I think 
Chip - I wasn't too far off, I said about the 8 injectors, T4 and larger IC but I didn't know about the cosmetic differences
Pugo - erm not sure where you're coming from
Puss - you got it and they also believe it's because there were 500 made in white, black and moonstone

i.e
my mate reckons an rs500 had 500bhp and reckons there wasn't 500 of them there was 1000's
i tipped him bolox, but guys tell me if he is right
or whatever you was debating about

the rs500 has special pick up points on rear suspension and as far as im aware the radio aerial should retract automatically when you open the boot due to the extar lip on spoiler??
the plaques were supllied by rs owners club and didnt originally come with the cars
