Default wheel spacer help

17*8 ET33 wheels all round
front tyres 205/40/17 (yes i know this is stretched on an 8" before anyone says, only temporary)
rear tyres 235/40/17
basically the front needs them as i have 10" springs but the rears dont need them

my question is can you fit them to one end of the car only or does this make a balls of things (if so what?)? i guessed it would so ive fitted 5mm spacers all round but i just know im going to have to hack the rear arches to pieces even more so to stop them catching now

Lots of cars have different track/offset front and rear. I run a spacer on the front, but not on the rear for the same reason - ie catching.

It's been fine for xx000 miles. Only thing to check is that the wheel nuts are long enough.

Rick.
