ź mile in 14.75
Top speed 149.7mph

The times were recorded by Performance Ford during a grudge match last year. SHould be quicker now as the ICE install, interior and trim have all been removed and there are a couple more tweeks been added

Far from the fastest but not too shabby for a 1600cc Escort

Think you mean Paul Johnson, he did an 11-something pass but I think there was some doubt about its accuracy as there was no 60 ft time shown or something. From what I hear even he had doubts so not trying to put him down or anything, his car is damn quick but its geared more for top speed attempts than sprints.

My times are 12.78 1/4 @ 114 done at TOTB3.

At last years Brunters thrash I did a 9.52 0-100 so fairly respectable times. Will be quicker once its all back together again!

I recall Jamie Going doing a 151.9 down the 1.2 miles(Evlington) & 13.27

I believe he and Christian have similar top speeds @ Brunters do they not? 160odds?

Janno's car is impressive for 1/4 as well from memory low 13's?

There must be a heap of other faster cars.

Steven RW`s old car done a 150mph at brunters to. There is loads of fwd fords about that can do 145mph+ at brunters. Think ford have won all the fwd`s at totb.

My times are 14.74 @ 104 mph on the quarter and 143.9mph for a top speed run at Brunters grudge match against Oranoco above

Got plenty more to come as that was with 250bhp and I am currently having a 2.1 zetec that's going to run around 400 bhp @ 1.7 bar by Field motorsport so roll on next year when it gets put back together

How many of the FWD vauxhalls that would even make anywhere near that top 10 are 1600 cc 8 valve engines?

Serious question

Well none!

But hy should we restrict ourselves to that? I've got a car and want it to go as fast as possible. The LET engine fits nicely!
