bugger.
you could not up a mock light tester, using a sidelight bulb or something.
12v to one side of the bulb and then a wire from the other side to pin 1 on the fuel injector plug.
not the best method in the world, but one its cheap and two you should have all the necessary bits in your garage

+ve feed for the bulb is the bottom yes? earth (inj) to the side?
whats pin 1 on the injector? as you are looking at the clip withthe release clip on top
left or right?
