I think I might join Dads Army....
...put in my details on the TA site a few weeks back and they have been sending me a tonne of stuff.
Thinking of putting my name down for a specialist if I have the qualifications.
Anyone else on here in the TA? Whats it like?

cus as bomber said I get paid for it. Would effectively put me on about 30k a year.
The 36 Signal Regement is near me, which is IT and Logistics, I could do that.

The TA will NEVER stop sending you things now... they phone you too 
I'd do it
will be a really good experience, you get to to loads of stuff AND get paid 
Only thing is getting time off work when you need to go on 2week exercise etc, and if there would be a problem in your regular job with that. (Also you might need 6months off someday to go do a tour
)
Gotta agree with cossiecrew though, toy army (bloody stabs 
) but if its not something you want to do full time and you enjoy your current job... then the TA seems like a good idea

not myself but my little bro was in it just to get some extra cash and then ended up in iraq in the desert attached to 2 (i think) para for 9 months- a year!
