If i was you i wouldnt paint an original s1 BLACK because they are getting rarer by the day,it will DE-value the car and technically it wont be genuine so you should sell urs and just go the same route as i did.!!

Erm. It's a bit lat eto be worrying about originallity as it's been completely stripped, caged and has a lairy Zetec Turbo motor going under the bonnet.

He's gone this far he may as well paint it a different colour

might as well then i suppose.i think black is becoming fairly common though??? thats why my car is stripped down ready to be painted a different colour,and a zetec turbo is ready to be dropped in!!

Imo m8 if the car is near standard jkeep it white

but if heavely modified paint it what ever colour you want

one of my m8s has a tango orange one loads of money spent on it my previous owner that will be out at some shows in the summer
