Default another quick question

I've just signed up for gold membership a few hours ago as i'd like to sell some cars n alloys etc. Just wondering what the lead time usually, if anyone else has recently subscribed? i presume new members are added by hand.

Thanks chaps.

if you have signed up purely to sell stuff then will you have to pay traders fees?

i'll be watching this one very closely.

and as said, if you have applied for gold membership purely to sell parts and cars, then this signifies that you are a trader of sorts, and therefore are required to pay the traders fee.

interesting. I'm not a trader though - i've simply got too many cars and i need to sell 2 of them. plus 2 sets of alloys. I think the memebership fee will be worthwhile if it helps me sell these.

I dont have any suppliers so to speak, i'm just an average joe. But my main reason for paying for gold membership is to take advantage of specific points that were offered as renumeration for the memebership cost - ie. access to more forums, and the ability to list "for sale" items in them. As you can see i've posted a bit here and there, but probably mostly in forums concerned with parts for sale etc.

I've lurked around on this board now for a good 6 months, and to be honest although i dont have any grudges against the people here, i dont own a cossie, or an rs turbo of any sort, therefore i haven't really felt at home with it. I appreciate thats a common gripe.

Anyway, i'm sure i'll be informed of proceedings either way.

people who own all makes of cars are made welcome, just show us what you got, there's always someone who'll have information and interest in your cars.

i think the point was if your joining up specifically to sell then that makes you a trader.

however if you intend to continue to use the forum and just get rid of what you have lying around then i doubt much will be said.

As you say the gold membership has other benefits too

i reckon after browsing this site for a while you'll want an RS anyway
