Default focus rs query

Just went and test drove and looked over a focus rs, on the inside of both doors where the skin folds round the frame the paint looks rubbed off, and the quarter looks the same, as if the door is rubbing against the quarter(the first "step" in the door shut), however the door does not touch the shell at all when shut?! is this normal? should the shell be moving about this much???? plus its done 44000 miles, full history ,2owner but 1 driver. is it worth the £15000 price tag?

I don't know about the paint stuff, but there are better (lower mileage) Focus RS' out there for £15000.

A few guys on here have got them, maybe they'll know about the door issues. You could go on www.ffoc.co.uk and ask on there.

I have a focus rs, mine has some dodgy paint work. I went on a focus rs owners club site when I first got it and it is a problem with a lot of them. Mine has 20k miles and you could have it for 15k.

There is a thin paint issue going on. One bad area is on the tailgate below the glass.

I wouldn't pay anymore than £13500 for a 40K+ car.

You can get 20K, one owner cars for £15000.

Good luck with the dealer!

If standard Focuses are to go by and by reports on FFOC, they'll be starting to go rusty as well in a couple of years anyway.
