what if you had a blow out and crashed your car wauld you be to blame or wauld you just put it down to an accident that you couldnt avoid cos as far as i am concerned it wasnt his fault

Hi, ive been registered on this site for a while now just never posted, i was with mark (mk3cosworth) when we went to recover bri's car im the lad in the first pic, this may be my first post but i feel the need to say where the accident happened is a proper black spot for crashes, the rainbow marks in the middle of the road are the diesel spills and they continued up the hill for about 200 yards, which were not even close to where the crash happened and for about 1/4 of a mile back down the bank on the bend where bri lost it, as a personal friend of mine i know bri isnt a "boy racer" and being in the car with him many a time i know he takes car and is a good driver, the police arnt pressing charges which proves he wasnt in the wrong or at fault, you couldnt even walk on the road it was that slippy much like black ice, even a couple of the emergency serices vehicles spun there wheels on the road, at the end of the day "ACCIDENTS" happen as jacko allready pionted out any 1 of us could find ourselfs in this situation, so i dont think some people should be so quick to judge when they dont know the facts and they wernt there etc, im sorry i had to make this my first post but i just felt i needed to get my 10 bobs worth, hello every 1 im ginge btw.

Not being funny but the road looks str8...so in theory the only way you could have crashed is but hitting boost in a RWD Cossie and spinning the wheels maybe for a laugh?

..Hey we all been known to be wankers on the road...so not a diss at all..i spose its just not nice for the person that got hurt...they could never charge anyone over the conditions in any circumstnces at a guess as no skid marks!

phil have you even hit ice on the road, i hit a sheet of it onthe top of hill on boxing day in the cossie and i was only doing 10mph, car just slid and i was aiming for the pavement ( i remember shouting "my wheels, dont hurt my wheels again')

anyway i gained grip as the ice patch ended but even at that speed i had no control what so ever

Gutting

Unfortunately this sort of shit happens The police are usually pretty keen to nail any accident down to speeding so if they aren't doing anything about it you can bet the driver was not at fault. You can also bet it will go down on the accident stats as a speed related accident though

I love the way all the experts crawl out the woodwork. How can anybody have a clue about what happened sat miles away in front of their PC's
