Mark braked a tad late & had a bit of a scare at the far end but came back with a big grin. 206.0 confirmed. We ran with full interior trim + 2 cameras.
The Fensport car ran 187mph & he had grip & was full on it, he missed the change into 5th so failed to get to 190. He broke the box on his second run, but admitted that low 190's was about his lot in the conditions.
Liked this car a proper piece of kit & properly prepared.
The Lotus was a joke NUFF SAID!!. Blew one Turbo & had a slipping clutch, Tiff was not a Happy bunny. It ran 175mph.
The best thing about today is that the car is much faster than before & loves the Longer gearing. Lots to come from this car, retirement on hold.

PS. will do 206 off Nitrous thats for sure, this was a 75% run no more.

Just like I said, the Lotus would never amount to much . 175mph is it's book speed and what it does on the standard gearing on the limiter (7000rpm) in fifth . Big improvement for all their money spent there then . I hope that Tif realises just how much of a difference 206mph is to 175mph - like on a different planet - oh the humiliation, beaten by a taxi . Anyone get a picture of his face ?

Its amasing what Adrenalin will do, in the cold light of it seems well frankly stupid. Mark is on a different Planet , The Fensport car ran about 13mph off its dry pace & my 193 was about the same, Mark equalled the record in the friggin wet, its stupid really. My excuse is mine was the wettest run except for the Lotus 1st run at 167mph.
Today hes at the Topgear track for a crack at the Lap record, with Kev & a few others, they will probably do it as well. Nice life for some.

I know its not a road car though! Be interesting to see if they can beat Shonkys Exige around there as I know it did a VERY quick time around that circuit.
