hi, its not on my Rs, but on my Punto GT,

its just a standard car what the missus use, but yesterday, the car has developed a like screaming noise on full boost, not on spool up, i think its gotta be from the turbo, could be the bearings, theres no smoke or anything?

i wanted to know really if a hole in any boost pipes or inlet manifold gasket or even loose turbo exhaust housing or even a cracked housing could cause this noise

these cars are shit to work on and changing the turbo looks a c*nt, so any easy things to try would help!

impellor is out of balance.....its starting to get ready to fail too with them noises

my R5 turbo used to do that, till i put castrol-R in it then it stopped, lol. Like treacle though.

cheers will try some thick oil first then,

cars being sold as soon as noise is gone anyway!

its like a really high pitched squeel, thats not THAT loud, but loud enough to hear it.

yeah thats right, on full boost, just done it all of a sudden though
