HOW MUCH AND WHERE?????
Have just had a qoute on the engine work i want doing and nearly passed out when i was told how much !!!! who is running between 400 and 500 bhp how much did you have to fork out Cos i was estimated a good few k more than i was expecting.. 
But really don't want to leave her standard for too much longer...

i was quoted around the 6k + mark thats with them using what could be used out of my 2wd engine. not fitted either.. ended up buying one all ready built.. was much easier / cheaper just bit of a risk but its all been set up and am well chuffed with it now..

i blew my 350bhp engine and bought another @ 400bhp and it came to nowhere near 6k admittedly I did buy a 2nd hand engine but it had only 10k in the two years it was built.
I am sure you can get near to 400bhp on standard internals, just need to change injectors, turbo, intercooler, fuel pump, and chip.
You should be able to 360-380 with a set of greys, T34, 3bar and remap.

i didnt think that price range was too bad really as most parts i asked to be quoted were brand new but i guess you get what you pay for . parts i priced roughly came to just over 3k so i guess you pay the rest for a good name to build it.. one was quite a bit more than 6..

for eveything needed and the rebuild to take mine upto 500bhp was quoted about 15k that includes the gearbox being sorted for that power aswell.. i just was not expecting it too come to that much..

That is about £2-3k too much IMO....
500bhp engine should be able to be bought outright for £10k, but this doesn't include for intercooler / diff / gearbox mods. Standard T5 will be okay for a short while with this power, but will expire eventually depending on condition.
