It is NOT illegal to run a car on veggie oil, as long as the fuel is declared so it can be taxed , most cars with mechanical fuel pumps will run 100% veggie oil no probs, only thing to watch is the oil getting thicker as it gets colder, solution is to fit a water jacketed fuel filter as found on most french diesels

i cant see a problem if you filter used vegie oil or just use new veg oil

ferk knows how much new veg oil is
