the head chamber i belive is higher CR on the 4x4 , not totally sure though and the 2wd head has turbo dampner mounts
also the oil feed is from the head and not the block on a 4x4 head/engine

might be others too

Turbo Oil Feed Is in a different position, WTS sensor is a difference position.

As Ginge said, no turbo mounts on a 4x4 head.

ryan what about the CR compared to the 2wd or is that the block

not a clue to be honest, but i seem to remember it being the pistons not the combustion chamber, could be completely wrong though

2 bolt holes for thermostat housing on 2wd, 4x4 has 3. head stud washers are larger on 4x4 too

better cooling as well... so i read! small turbo has better valve guides.

true, was thinking primarily about my 3 door and the 4x4 & forgetting 2wd saff.
