anyone play sunday league?
I am really now wanting to play footie again, since starting my 5aside thing at work, so was thinking of looking around Dunstable/luton for some 11-a-side sunday league, but wondered if i should bother as i am 33, and the last team i played for a few yrs ago didnt want peeps over 25, anyone here over 30 play footie at all?

You do get veteran teams that won't take anyone under 30, there's one out my way, and they kick arse!!! If you can play, do it! Because in another 10 years you probably won't be able to, and you don't want to be wishing you did when you were 33 I'm 23, and just had another 2 operations on both of my knees, but whilst I can stand, I'm gonna play. There is plenty of time to sit in the armchair when you retire

I play for Henlow on saturdays and I'm 34. The old boys still have a role to play.
I buy the beer after the game while the young ones tell me I was cr@p
Wish I did it years ago.
Start now cos you can always stop if you don't like it.

Worth doing a few searches on the internet to see if you can find a league or team.
