Yep !! your system is very High end. I bailed out about 7years ago after many years chasing the dragon. I realise its all moved on but my system still gives me hours of pleasure. I knew of your speakers but did not make the connection, I salute you Doug.
Rod
ps. Brighton Hill is just down the road from me , if you have trouble with your Amps i will send the heavies round .

Not cheap I'm afraid............especially when you add the UK/EEC VAT

Also, worth keeping in mind that these are an old design (even though revamped/updated in "V2" guise), so expect limited loudness and bass extension when compared to modern designs. Also, the rest of your system has to be of very good quality to justify buying these.......then you need to budget for good quality solid pair of stands.........dont put them on bookshelves........pleeeease

Doug, you deserve that award

I have had the full Stirling demo and they sound superb.

Only one real complaint - Doug's taste in music

Must admit some of those old funky tunes are growing on me

As I said on Sunday, congrats Doug, makes all the hard work worthwile, and is great to see the effort you make recognised by the right people in the industry.

As someone mentioned above, strike while the iron is hot and get marketing your company everywhere.

I know it's a bit of an investment, but you need a half or full page ad in all the top end audio mags screaming out the news. For reference Fast Ford charge just £300 for a full page ad, and recommend a run of at least 3 months to see the best response. I know it will be different for the mags you need but gives you some idea.

Enjoy it and remember if you ever need a YTS type skivvy for your soon to be expanding business I'm only down the road

Just about any GOOD quality amplifier will be fine, but they work best with tube (valve) amps. Most customers use vintage or modern tube amps, or Pure Class A solid state amps.........The speaker is NOT amp fussy like others, so it is an easy load to drive (11 OHM nominal).

ahh, it's so much clearer now!lol.

Well done Doug!

Congratulations Doug
Your modesty is a credit to you but having seen and heard your monitors I consider them a bargain at twice the price.
