I KNOW ITS A HEAVY SUBJECT "but ive had a few mates over there"
one lost the plot cause his mate was shot by a sniper
blew his brains all over him ..
never been the same since ..

My view is its a pile of bollocks.....they are all as bad as eachother all those paramilitary groups

i think he just likes being grumpy,and this move by the ira ,has put the pressure back on his military arm ,to do the same,even if it's all a media sham to make the ira look good,they are all gangsters on both sides anyway,a united ireland is not wanted by the majority in all of ireland,and it will never happen,because it will cost each side to much.

Morcheen, ian paisley's dup dont have a military arm m8, thats the whole point! ira/sinn fein wants to sit in government without disbanding and stopping criminality, it cant happen! how'd you like a terrorist makin decisions on how much tax you pay or how your childern are educated! most ordinary people would be horrified,so why should we be any different! as for the loyalists terrorists, if they want to be in government same applies!

The IRA might have got rid of ownership of their weapons, but the weapons will still be held by the same people largely, just no longer offiicially as IRA weapons.
As above, I agree that most of these idiots arent doing it for a cause, its all about the £££££ and the power etc.
Bet not even 10% of weapons have really been destroyed.
