I did 3 years in Army Cadets badged to the Paras and 3 years in the TA badged to the Royal Artillery...
When i have bad days - it almost makes me want to go back to it all, i do miss it, probably miss the 'family' sense of it more than anything...
Being cold wet and hungry most weekends wasn't exactly ideal, but being with the people and the banter that used to go on was great.
Given me so much more confidence in myself though now!
God i miss it
