Default What do you peeps use for DVD/Video editing?

I have a DVD of the ringtrip and want to cut it into sections so i can have just my own laps for future reference, so i can then compare them as years go by to see where ive improved as i get into the 7s

I would like them stored as Mpg's ideally so they are easily viewed online.

Any help muchly appreciated

you can use TMPGEnc DVD Author to create the chapter points where you want them (start and finish of your laps) then extract the chapters you want (your laps) with dvddecrypter
