Default standard coil on tuned 1600 CVH turbo?

The coil is something I've never really considered upgrading but i am aware of the 'competition' items that are available. question is, are they worth it? or just a gimmick like splitfire plugs lol??

Does anyone run an uprated one? at what point is one required if at all?

thanks in advance

stnadard coils the last thing you wana worry about, uprate the rest of the ignition first i.e leads plugs ect.. at your power its not even a consideration unless its dead

thats all i wanted to know - though it is an XR2 in question, not an RST so its an XR2 coil, though i doubt that matters either?
