Focus ST170
I have now become the owner of my first blue oval, just bought an st170. Could anyone tell me of any tuning mods on the market or the best mods to make for some extra power gains.

There are a few mods you can do the ST170 but for the money the end gains are really poor 
K+N panel filter is good one and for some reason makes the car feel better, but for the £26 there is 0 bhp gain.
The bluefin again makes the car feel better mid rev range, but for the £350 you will only see 2-5bhp gain.
The de-cat pipe can make a gain but you need the sensor kit to bypass it all. Not sure on price or gains, but most de-cat pipes are around £300+ and maybe a 5bhp gain.
Vernier pully on the exhaust cam is another mod, makes between 2-5bhp gain for the £70ish pully and the £130 rolling set up thats needed.
so after spending nearly £1000 you might be lucky to make 10-15bhp gain, IMO really poor return of bhp for ££££
Put the extra money towards a FocusRS, with that FRS you spend £450 on a bluefin and get 25-30bhp straight away! now thats a proper tuning mod for your money
