Cos they always do!

£150 cars from a scrapyard are a pile of crap? No shit Sherlock

Whats next weeks exclusive? Rain is wet!
......oh dear seems like none of you have woken up yet.

Some people don't know much about cars and will expect a £250 motor with MOT to be perfectly sound.....just because it has an MOT.

Some of you dont get it do you.

The bloke was selling theifs poule cars ffs and telling the people who bought them how to brake the law.

Example A,
Wide boy sells Escort shitter and tells Chav theif to put false name and address on docs.
Chav theif takes Escort shitter to a cark park near you, knocking your mum over with no tax mot or insurance along the way.
Chav theif takes your car and leaves Escort shitter.

Places like that should be shut down.

None of us are condoning him breaking the law,and I sell cheap cars and would never advise anyone to break the law.

Yes the palce was as dodgy as feck, but why buy two cars from the sma ebloke why not buy another car from another tradewr to give a broader and better peice of journalism.

Doctay, wether a car is registered in someones name or not doesnt change how much it would hurt if they hit my mum with it.

People IMHO make too much of a link between unregistered cars and people getting hurt.

you still get a payout too, from the uninsured drivers fund.

Thats does NOT AT ALL mean i condone the behaviour but im just saying its not engandering lives the way a cut and shut car falling apart on the motorway does, THATS the sort of "rogue trader" they should have gone out to get.
Not demonised a couple of people who were on the fringe of dodgy really.

Example A,
Wide boy sells Escort shitter and tells Chav theif to put false name and address on docs
The ONE I saw he didnt tell him to put false name on it, just said if he used a card he WOULD have to put his real name on it.

TBH think the guy selling not the brightest and just wanted to push sale through so his banter about I dont care what name you put down etc was just banter, true he probably didnt and didnt give a shit about what happened when someone drove the car out

He obviously not a nice person to deal with and quite likely WOULD sell DODGIER cars if he got em, so yes to shut him down would probs be good

NOT gona say again why I think THE BBC were the ones letting the public down

BUT as a bye the way, whenever YOU sell a car do you make 100% sure the buyer has given you his correct information, there he is waving his £10G under your nose, bet the main concern on your mind is to make sure he hasnt given you a false name and address for when he losses control of the 300bhp killing machine you just sold him and wipes out a mother and her two kids

Soz for unpleasant example, but to the couple on here banging on about it, what is the difference. SOMEBODY who would have a WANT to drive a car unregistered WOULD do it one way or another

As for dodgy dealers once bought a £2G senatar from dealer looked respectable nice forecourt car bought WITH waranty, but on day i tested it drivers window didnt work, promised would be repaired and when i picked car up was , half hour latter fcuked again took car back again and was told only a temp repair while awaiting bit to come in anyways after time and visits and calls latter (including the place where they recond the bit was on order from) finally ended with me being escorted out of there office by two gorrilas each side and a third wiv a rifle in the back of my head nice dealership

Chip well said most eloquent at least we understand each other

Damo ok fair play MOT sounds wee bit suspect then (but as did say I only caught a bit of prog) BUT I still continue my original argument WHY didnt the BBC show THE GARAGE that did the dodgy MOT (unless it was the guy selling the car but didnt look like he had the set up there to do it or even the brains to pass the required tests) surely that more important to shut down than the guy selling the car

IF i wanted to stop drugs in the country I would rather stop the importer than the guy selling it on the street as if I stopped the importer the guy on the street wouldnt have anything to sell (if only I could )

So stop the guy saying the cars are safe and the guy selling em wont be able to sell them

BUT the BBC were more interested in this one guy selling shit car which he made no bones about

......oh dear seems like none of you have woken up yet.

Some people don't know much about cars and will expect a £250 motor with MOT to be perfectly sound.....just because it has an MOT.

if you think it is ok, then stop pissing around with mot's and insurance and your 20k saffs ..go get a £150 motor and don't declare it yes i know it is obvious a cheap car will be crap, but they are out there totally undeclared and illegal. Yes it was easy, but ............oh fcuk it...you wouldn't get the point anyway

Seems like some boneheads think anything is tolerable.. I thought some of you actually cared or had something sensible to say........and before you ask, one of my friends was killed in a hit and run by one such shit heap with an undeclared driver...
Woah!!! Hold on a second. First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your friend.

If you read the first line of what I wrote, it clearly states that I didnt watch the show, and was going on what I read here, and people Ive spoken to who did watch it. Therefore I wasn't aware of the unregistered drivers - which I wouldnt condone.

Those kind of shows always over hype and dramatise everything - and interview people who have "cheated death" cos their toaster caught fire - or some other such trivia. THATS why I didnt watch.

I believe the car on the show had a weepy wheel cylinder. Hardly likely to cause an accident. Also a nail or screw in a tyre is not an MOT failure.

As for your other comments, I never mentioned insurance, unregistered drivers or c**** who hit and run. These arent the dealers responsibility anyway.

Thanks for the abuse. And if you ever see anyone who would pay £20k for a Saff, please let me know who they are.
