Default Q. Scorpion exhausts on RS Turbo's

Following on from posts on another thread and I notice a lot of comments saying the Scorpion system is restrictive.

Can anybody explain why as I'm perplexed as my S2 runs a Scorpion system and makes good power and torque?

might make more with a different one?!!

I think on certain versions of the scorpion its rumoured to go down to 2" through the back box - when the standard rs turbo system is 2.5" but obviously still quite restrictive due to whatever the baffling arrangement is.

The scorpion system I bought was 2,5" and the backbox was 3" but at closer inspection the inside of the backbox was only 2". Think it was only in the "old days" that scorpion did this.
