Default Rear Ohlins on!..Pics

...not straight forward but nothing ever is ......

Not a great picture

A pain to think where to put the remotes BUT i think they are ok there easily got to aswell

Ride height is bit higher than before...but they are fully adjustable but aint got a c-spanner to lower it...get plenty travel eaither way...in i could make the car look like its on stilts ROFL

Just had a play in the car and on softest setting feels fine on hardest setting i had it skipping round corners Just got to find a happy balance i guess as all this set up is new to me ...Good fun actually! ...Fronts next....but these are gonna be harder to fit and holes having to be drilled...The remotes for the fronts will go under the bonnet as there are holes to put them thru..would have liked the rears in the boot but apparently you musnt detatch the hose.. All good fun

Think the remotes on the rear beam will be a bit iffy on there.

Can you not mount the remotes on the floor pan?

Well i guess i could but access to em would require jacking the car up....as i said i would assume the remotes are made to take abuse...they look it!....On a road car i doubt they will get much harm anyway!

looks good - but it looks like you've still got the old rear spring in there?

and for the remotes behind the rear bumper possibly.

Cheers

Ohlins Awesome gear

Ł480??!?!?!?!?!?!?! HOW THE HELL did you get em so cheap! Bargain of the century!!!!

You should get them fully serviced and make sure they are valved and set up properly for the spring rates you wanna run. Will cost you a bit but you have a quality set up there for silly money so make sure its all working properly.

That is soo cheap!!!

Sean knows someone who will service and check them out for you. Awesome gear. They are what Sean was going to use, his sold for over 3k! but they were as good as new and he had them serviced and setup.

They were fitted to Recce cars. They are not Group A items as they use different uprights and Tony said. But they are as good as you will get for something that will bolt up to a standard car.

Let me know if you wanna sell em.

They are a bit over the top on a road car by the way hint hint

WRC use totally different suspension. Phils are still very very good, but his bolt to normal hubs, uprights, beams and all that stuff.

Phil is correct these were put on the Recce cars.

Phil, take my advice and grease up the threads and keep them in good nick. My coilovers where such a bitch to adjust after I left them and they became a bit rusted.

Paul.
