Default Picture of my new shocks....

Full set of OHLINS coilovers full bump and rebound adjustable (via external oil cylinder) complete with helper spring and progressive springs 3" front springs 2.25 rears
These are fitted to sperical bearing top mounts.

Off a Recce car Grp A i beleive!...Rears should fit fine and it feels like you can go relatively soft on the these!...Fronts will be a little harder to fit but nowt a DIYer cant do

I beleive these coilovers are the daddy in suspension terms!....Be nice to choose whatever ride height i want

So from Proper WRC spec we're down to assumed Group A spec?

Trust me: even with soft springs they will be harsh for road use if they are proper group A items...

Recce cars are ussually a lot less trick....they are to scout the stage...you're not even supposed to go at racepace...

Group A is your best bet here but still if it is then it is proper kit
I've had Proflex group A shocks, stiffer than Mike in a gaybar!

Phil ,
These are gpA parts , are yours this fitment ? I expect not , most Recce cars are road legal and use an uprated Std (commonly called GpN ) type of suspension , nothing wrong with that at all !

As Ryan said..........

Phil, the WRC Ohlins/Proflex set ups are designed to cope with these sort of shock loads (pics below) so there gonna be VERY hard (even on the softest settings):

Think that these would be suited more to an out and out track car Phil.

If you don't know what your doing with them you will fukc up the handling of the car good style Phil.

Having 2 control variables makes the job 4 times harder to find a decent setting.

As for cost - well I would guess second hand (can only see 3) and 2 look like 40mm jobbies - under 2k

Expect to pay at least that again if they need servicing or a strip and rebuild Good price though

It will run fine with the helper springs but just clatter about a bit taking off going over the speed bumps
