Default Ebay scam?? Or have we missed something?

We have had a Direct Debit appear on our Bank Account by 'JPMC RE Ebay' which we haven't authorised. We do have an Ebay DD with the same title, but this is a new one.

Anyone else got this?? I have spoken to a couple of other people who have it on theirs.

I have had a recent email off ebay(or an imposter!!), telling me I owe them Ł2.88 for recent transactions and it tells me where to send the money( a PO box in london) I thought Ebay automaticly took the money?

as said check with your bank then with ebay

Ebay don't automatically take the money unless you set it up with them through paypal or DD. I did this a long time ago and about a month ago I got a stinky email saying I'd not paid, I think they must have stuffed up their site for a bit??

As for the JPMC Ebay item on your statement, you bought anything from someone called JPMC and paid by paypal? If you've no money in your paypal account it automatically takes funds from credit or debit cards and leaves a message like that on either credit card or bank statement....

If you haven't get onto your bank sharpish. Hope you sort it out m8.
