The more there are of you in a car, the cheaper it works out...

Weird thing is me and craign and cally spent less for the 3 of us than stu and nicole did for just the two of them

I forgot the eurotunnel cause i paid that ages ago, including that it was probably more like 1200 for us three.

Stu's additional fuel costs and hotel bills on the Thursday and Monday nights at Folkstone. That'll teach him to live so far North .

Well...
Theres an extra £100 fuel from blackpool to tunnel and back.
Possibly an extra £100 for overnight travel lodges?
Likely an extra few laps at £10 each as i did 21 so potentially £100 or so more? Also add petrol for those laps too?
Have you included the RAC cover and travel insurance?
I also added the £60 it cost me to make Nicole fully comp for any car up to 1million£ in europe on my policy.

Other than that, i guess i just eat too much

Me and craig both have a habbit of not really noticing what we spend, i suspect we missed a couple of hundred off, lol

Fair point on the two extra nights hotel though, but on petrol craign coming from somerset in his not very economical car compared to your labmda equipped one from blackpool was probably about quits.

21 laps though, fook me no wonder you spent so much, you crazy fool, lol

We also got 7 laps very cheap. 3 from madmac after he crashed his car and 4 from a couple of english lads in a BMW who did one very slow sighting lap to see what they were dealing with, followed by one attempt at a quickish lap followed by shitting themselves and selling their ticket.

So we got 7 laps for 50 euros between those two tickets, that helped a bit.

Not bad considering how much mike likes his food and always had a starter and a side order etc with his meal

That hotel we were in was SO fucking nice and SO fucking cheap, 20 quid a night per person B&B it worked out to!

shame it was bloody miles away though.

would have been cool if everyone was there though, but in reality that wont ever happen so its better to all be near the ring instead.

I will miss that hotel though, and the view over the river etc, really was an excellent spot.

This year the vauxhall lads are going over this weekend.

If the same thing happens next year i might go for 10 days instead.
Stay for 2 nights at the ring with the ford lads and do loads of laps.
Have 4 days at that hotel miles away chilling out with the mrs, then pop back and stay at the ring again for a couple of days and do loads of laps with the vauxhall lads.

Probably only put the cost up from 1200 to 1800 or so including all the extra laps.
although downside for me being a consultant is i would lose the same amount of cash in wages as it cost probaby, poxy fooking job with no holiday pay, lol

Matt,

I did it as a passenger with Mike a few years back.

I reckon it cost me about £300 as a passenger, including fuel, chunnel contributions, hotel, food, and getting absolutely fucked up every night
