Anyone ever had it done ?


I'm wanting to quit smoking, was going to try patches etc

But been told that Hypnosis is quite good, never really looked into it before so though i would ask some opinion's on it

i got patches of doctor did a week and stopped smokin

got about a months course left

My method was simpler. I used gum, the weakest type, and every time I wanted a cig I chewed a new piece of gum for 10 seconds then spat it out. Figured it'd be like the first draw on a ciggie, the one you feel good for.

Did that whenever I thought I was going to fold and have a cig. maybe, 3 times a day at the start going down to once a week after a month.

Now, just plain don't smoke.

Stay away from booze if you plan on stopping, cos you'll start again when you drink.

My dad has offered to pay for Hypnosis , but did not know if was any good

My boss went under earlier this year. She had four sessions in the end and has never looked back!!! Now she cannot even stand the smell of cigarette smoke. She recommends it to anyone trying to give up but make sure you check out the person or try to get a recommendation from someone.
