Default firing order on a rs turbo please...

I sure I have it right but want to check...

also can someone give me a diagram or pic of a dizzy cap, on an engine, showing where Number 1 lead should be ie, 1-2 oclock, 4-5 oclock, 7-8oclock, or 10 - 11 oclock???

I realise the firing order goes anti clock on dizzy

thanks

Damian

You sounded soo confident earlier!!

Cheers for the advise as well...gave the car a good checking over and from what I can see they are all original panels! When you take a look you'll have to lie to me!!

Cheers for doing this Damo, its getting very frustrating now as its prob something so bloody obveious

And the FRS was sexual, a clean and well looked after car - even if Bish did leave a damp patch on the drivers seat

Well done tho fella, a nice car. But STOP coasting

I had the order right 1342

Can somone physically check on their car please??

We may have it this way already ... but I honestly cant remember

I put my strong vote on the #1 plug wire being 1-2 o'clock. The position differs slighty depending if it's a KE, K-jetronic, CVH carburettor or even a valencia engine etc.

wait....

Just check on old photon when I had this thing called distributor and definately the #1 is at 2 o'clock.

So its totally different to Gimme's picture?

As No1 is at 11
No2 is at 2 o'clock
No3 is at 8 o'clock
and No 4 is at 5 o'clock

Hmmmm confusing

Yes. The picture is not for KE-jet CVH. Have a look at your own car. You have it right in your resto topic.
