Default Fuel panic buying

Can't get fuel for love nor money round here at the minute, needles just about touching the red so popped in to get some on the way home from work to find queue's over 1/4 mile long at the last station to have fuel left, there's 5 petrol stations in our town and all but 1 has sold out

Support the blockades completely, just annoying everyone panic buying when if people were sensible the remaining fuel would last a lot longer

Got some today in Coventry, quiet as a mouse but haven't had a look since mid day.

Thing is there are peeps out there that are filling their tanks to the brim and probably only do 50 miles a week. the fule will last them till christmas.

I remeber last time this went on, i didn't do much mileage then and could cope without the car but their i was queing for a tank full like some numb nuts

If peeps didn't panic buy and there was no media coverage we would most likely never notice.

Wonder if the fuel companies instigated this. Panic buying and I bet fook all happens, but everone buys loads of over priced fuel

james not being funny but that is exaclty what i was thinking, 2 weeks notice for a blockade, make everyone panic into buying fuel, i would say its deffo a marketing managers new business play to get this months sales targets with the extra price on fuel

bit like the man who garanteed a toothpaste company a 12% rise in sales over a year,,,,,,,,,,,, he made the hole in the toothpaste tube 25% bigger in diameter

never had this bother when we all lived in caves.

Trouble is, cost of everything goes up. I say we should all take a week off , fcuk the lot of em and not subscribe to their price hikes, taxes, scare stories and all that...wish I lived miles from work so I could ring in and say the motor was empty and I can't make it in.

All gone mad in Licoln as well...asda has been shut 2 days now.......

Local station only had diesel left tonight, time to go look for another set of wheels this week end

Seriously though, I wanted to put the 2wd in the garage for a few jobs, but looks like I'm going to have to wait and see how things pan out as it has 1/2 tank of fuel which I may need to go to work

Can someone please tell me why there is a shortage of petrol in petrol stations?
I don't read papers and rarely watch the news and really don't know whats going on lol I understand there is some kind of protest or something going on but why does that mean there is less petrol about
btw i have 10 gallons in my garage if anyone would like to put in a bid

Blockades are currently illeagal over here so it wont be happening 'so jus chill winston'
