the point ive sort of got from this post is , that stu has simply refined a characteristic of the stock ecm to enable a better driving car - simple as

he has utilised the H02s to make the car much more usable because he can , and at the stoichiometric value engine combustion is at its best so that means for your fookin Ł4.00 per gallon - youve actually used it all in your quest to cruise down the highway - instead of smooking it down the fookin exhaust !!!

I dont care who started it and whos just retaliating... lets just call it a day, we all have our own tuners and were all happy with our own services, so why spend so much time slagging others off?

I have no issue's against Karl or any other tuner on here therefore from my end this is not a NMS vs MAD issue however from Dingy and Matt's end things appear to be alot diffierent, proof = I never had any issue's with either Dingy or Matt (infact got on with both of them) before I started using Mark, all of a sudden things changed and the term Maddette appeared....funny that aint it.

I agree with Stu...well said mate.

Probably not the best time to post this but the post has really helped me understand and learn...

Thought ForeignRs and Richm posts were really good and have certainly changed my mind. Good Fuel economy has never been something I was bothered with on highly tuned cossie engines BUT if you can have it with NO downsides at all then you are a muppet not to.

To be honest Stu, when you posted in the past about closed/open loop stuff, I kinda just stopped reading/listening and thought ZZZZzzzzzz

BUT now having taken the time to read it I must say WELL DONE MATEY Awesome

Quick question, does my ECU do all that malarky?

Why youd NOT want to run a lambda controlled map is beyond me. We run 740 injectors and the car runs perfectly at all throttle positions and returns a very heathly mpg whilst being able to fuel properly at full throttle and high boost.

To remove the lambda control would be, as far as Im concerned, utter foolishness as would not taking advantage of the technology if its available.
