When you click on the "bids" section on a sale it shows the bidding history, but often you just get the same user name come up with bids one after the other a few minutes apart and then another user winning but an earlier timed bid Is that just the auto bidding or is it just the seller/sellers mate bumping the bids?? New users aswell.

it shows obtoms bid earlier but higher than the lowest bids times if you get what mean.

If I understand this right.. its just that the user you see bumping the bid has just his autobid set higher than the person who put in a bid on the item

If you look at the bidding history on this item you will see that user "nig_rob" had a high autobid that I had to find so he has allot of bids from 20 to 41, which was his maximum price. I then put my autobidder on 45, and since his highest bid was 41 I won the auction with £42

just accused the seller of gettin his mates to bump the bids!!!

Still could be I suppose as their both newly registered.
